We continue to read in the press about how farming, and in particular cows, are one of the main problems with regards to the current environmental and climate change issues.
In this TED talk, Bobby Gill looks at how grazing ruminants can actually be part of the solution to the current environmental issues. He suggests that we have neglected our soils and need to consider how best to manage them in order to meet the ongoing need for food provision. Bobby suggests that correctly managed grazing systems can help to grow soil fertility, organic matter and improve the soil structure to boost fertility and productivity.
