New Staff at Douglas Green Consulting

We are delighted to announce 2 new members of staff have joined our team, providing additional robustness capacity and capability to our farm consultancy business.

Emily Alvis BSc (Hons)

Emily is a graduate farm consultant having completed her degree in Agriculture at The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

Emily has solid practical farming knowledge which, coupled with her degree, means she has a strong foundation to build a promising career. Her practical experience includes dairy farming. She helped fund her time at University working as a relief herdsperson.

In the short time she has been with us, Emily is proving to be a very valuable member of our team, contributing to many projects we are working on currently, and is taking a lead analysing milk sample fatty acid profiles for clients.

When she is not at work, Emily enjoys caring for her pedigree Hampshire Down sheep flock.

Amongst her achievements; she recently won the National Youngstars stock judging and husbandry competition for sheep.

Abby Cook BSc (Hons)

Abby recently joined us, primarily as a well qualified PA to Tom Bell, and as a replacement for Donna who chose to leave us in September 2017.

Abby brings a wealth of skills and experience to the team, which will be invaluable to us as she has been an agricultural consultant for 7 years.

She specialises in supporting progressive dairy and livestock businesses, which makes her a great fit at Douglas Green Consulting.

We are confident Abby will contribute massively to our team.
